EDUARDO GUERA HERNANDEZ
Eduardo Guera was born on the 23rd of August 1967 in Pinar del Rio. He studied at the Escuela Vocacional de Arte Raul Sanchez in Pinar del Rio from 1979 to 1982. From 1982 to 1986 he attended the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas in Havana, and then, from 1990 to 1995, the Instituto Superior de Arte. He has had numerous exhibitions in his native Cuba, as well as in Spain (Madrid in 1996, 1997, and 1998), Sweden (Joenkoeping in 1999), Mexico (Guadalajara in 1996) and the US (Texas in 2001, California in 1999). All of the works shown below are colografias - a type of printing & etching technique - and all are issued in limited series.
