ANDRES TOSCO
Andres Tosco was born on December 24, 1959, in Havana, Cuba. He trained as a computer technician in Russia, before turning to painting in 1994. He is self-taugh and, after initially painting on wood, now works exclusively on canvas. Tosco is married and has two children, who inspire some of his paintings. He is very concerned with social issues, something which - as he freely admits - is not always reflected in his works.
