BRESIL AKENSON

Akenson was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  Like many Haitian painters, he is entirely self-taught.  He still lives and works in Haiti's capital, where he has struck up a close working relationship with the Galerie Issa.  His works are exhibited in several galleries in Haiti, the wider Caribbean, and the United States.
